Weird Wonderful is a small creative strategy and design studio by married creatives Simon Sotelo & Johnny Subia. Founded in 2019, Weird Wonderful began as a creative branding and media production studio serving non-profits, small businesses, and mission driven startups.
2025 - Present
After collaborating with a number of incredible businesses and organizations, a project in the Arctic Village, AK spotlighted a crushing reality. Climate consciousness in our personal lives is important however, it isn't enough. We left the Arctic with an understanding that our business and professional selves must also be working toward a healthy and accessible climate.
Our Outdoors
It too long for us to take advantage of our outdoor spaces in the Pacific Northwest. Overwhelmed by the sheer number of activities and high financial barrier for equipment, an accessible starting place remains illusive for many other admirers of nature.
Just one facet of our work is to remove these barriers by creating interesting and entertaining artifacts that educate so that our outdoor spaces are filled with the admirers it deserves. Admirers who can enjoy them safely and with confidence.
